CHET NICHOLS  is a Route 66 Historian, novelist, poet , artist, musician, performer and songwriter. He has had a long love affair and history with Route 66.  Chet is available for speaking engagements about Route 66. The year 2026 begins the celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the most storied highway in America, (if not the world): Route 66. It began it's journey from Chicago to Santa Monica and back, in 1926 and weaves thru 8-states as it guides travelers from east-to-west-and-back-and-forth thru the United States.
