NEW CHRISTMAS SINGLE: My Town At Christmas
So, from the looks of it, The Christmas & Holiday Seasons are upon us.
So, I want to share my Christmas-themed song entitled, "My Town At Christmas". It's a rocking ditty and danceable, too.
It was inspired by my Grandmother, Grandfather, Mom and Dad's yearly production of the famous family rum cake, that usually was over saturated with rum.... because during the making of the rum cake, “somebody” (somebodies) would sneak into the kitchen and "add an EXTRA SHOT" of rum ... well, ... for "Good Luck".
Well, those shots had a tendency to “mount-up” and accentuate the “joy” of the season. NOT bad when consumed in moderation, ya know?
Anyway, once the rum cake was made, they loaded up a half-dozen, round Christmas tins with cake fixings and put them on the top shelf of the hall closet to, well, "CURE", for a month. And "CURE" they did!
And we would all wonder why everyone wound up dancing around the Christmas Tree in a Conga Line.
Cha-cha-cha!
So, enjoy this song and share it ... one small slice at a time. And, a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you all.
